- to help me manage my literature reviews around my MBA topic. This is associated with the Research Methods module, with the assignment of working up the reserach proposal
At the time of writing (15th October, 2014), my research topic is around;
what determines the effective diffusion of ideas (and/or innovative work practices) within an organisation (firm)
My ideas (brainstorming sheet) includes
- type of organisational structure, are there differences within UK educational sectors (HE, FE and Schools), and differences in the sector (public or private)
- size of the organisation, I imagine I should be looking at medium and large organisations - i assume it needs a critical mass
- role of people. People are the glue, so the role of opinion leaders, social networks (within the firm)
- strong connection effective strategic change management
- need to define the innovation or idea ... should I look at educational curriculum design TEL innovations
- look at including motivational theory, what motivates a person to change their behaviour and adopt/buy into a new idea or innovation?
